The Unlimitrust CAMPUS: Trust has an address.

The unlimitrust campus is a place where like-minded start-ups, corporations, investors, academics, institutions and other stakeholders in the field of trust technologies come together in pursuit of a common ambition: to rethink the present and to shape a future governed by trust.

The unlimitrust campus lies at the heart of a vibrant local ecosystem with global ambitions, bringing together technology providers and users, following fair and ethical rules, thus re-uniting the concepts of economy and trust.

why the unlimitrust campus?

Why the unlimitrust campus?

Unlimitrust is about harnessing the combined power of investment and entrepreneurial imagination to build trust. As physical and digital interactions merge, governments, businesses and citizens face a growing set of challenges – digital complexity and data security threats, a lack of trust in digital and physical delivery systems, concerns raised by socio-political factors in terms of ethics, transparency and social disparities, and more. These challenges call on individuals and organisations to co-create in order to shape a more secure world.

In response, SICPA, the leading provider of security inks as well as secure authentication, identification, traceability and supply-chain solutions, aims to advance the Economy of Trust worldwide. The campus will promote trust in the broadest sense, encouraging new ideas, new collaborations and the development of new trust technologies.

A sustainable campus.

Unlimitrust is a sustainable campus – a place that’s connected to its environment and applies circular resource-use principles:

  • Minergie-certified for sustainable construction: The campus has obtained the Swiss Minergie label for its energy-efficient design and the high share of renewables in its energy mix, with around 1,300 rooftop solar panels covering 20% of the building’s energy needs.
  • Mobility solutions: The campus is well-connected to train and bus routes. The future tram line will include a stop just a few metres from the main entrance, and an outdoor bike parking area (with capacity for 400 bikes) will be built on the campus grounds.
  • Green building and grounds: A total of 101 trees, spanning 23 different species, will be planted in and around the first campus building (on the terraces and patios). By the end of 2022, a further 133 trees (17 different species) will be planted on the grounds surrounding the building, which will be open to all campus users.
